2021: Self-Built Large Factory, Lifting Capacity and Quality

In 2021, Huahao completed another major leap — our self-built large factory in Lu'an was officially put into operation. Compared with earlier facilities, the new plant represents a qualitative jump in production area, material flow and process layout. It marks our shift from "renting a workshop" to "owning a factory and owning capacity," and with it came more confident delivery and more stable quality.

1. Why We Insisted on Building Our Own Factory

For a manufacturing company on the upswing, choosing to rent or to build reflects an entirely different mindset. Renting gets you into production quickly and cuts one-time investment, but the ceiling is obvious: limited space, restricted modifications, and unstable leases. Huahao chose to build, based on three judgments:

• Long-termism: treat the plant as a cornerstone meant to serve the company for a decade, not a temporary shelter
• Capacity certainty: owning the factory means expansion is no longer at the mercy of landlords and moves, giving delivery real confidence
• Quality that accumulates: a stable, controllable production environment is the precondition for precision machining that endures

This investment bought far more than bricks and steel — it bought the ability to develop and produce steadily for years to come.

2. A Plant Zoned Around the Seal-Making Workflow

The new factory is not simply an "enlarged" old workshop; it was redesigned around the logic of carbon graphite seal production:

• Streamlined material flow: raw material warehousing, pressing and forming, baking and graphitization, machining, impregnation, inspection and finished-goods packing are linked in a smooth rhythm, cutting unnecessary handling of semi-finished parts
• Zoned control: operations with heavy dust and those sensitive to temperature and humidity are separated, effectively controlling environmental effects on machining quality
• Dedicated inspection area: finished inspection is centralized with dedicated gauges and instruments, making the pre-shipment gate more rigorous

A well-thought-out layout lets every area do its job and makes "process that manages quality" achievable.

3. The Capacity Leap of a Thousands-of-Square-Meter Plant

A larger plant means higher capacity and more room to grow. With our own factory, Huahao was able to:

• Add multiple CNC machining lines: the CNC lathe and machining center base expanded further, taking batch production of standard models to the next level
• Expand impregnation and inspection stations: more stations and smoother hand-offs between operations
• Take on large orders: with more comfortable scheduling headroom against customers' strict batch and lead-time demands, our ability to handle large orders rose significantly

Starting from thousands of square meters of owned factory, Huahao now truly has the scale to "take the order, produce it fast, and deliver it reliably."

4. For Our People, and for Steadier Quality

The plant upgrade is about far more than capacity numbers — it visibly improved how our team works. Standardized shop-floor management, a cleaner environment and smoother flow let our craftsmen focus more attentively on every operation. A settled, stable technical team is in fact the most reliable source of consistent quality. We have always believed: machines can be copied, but a team that treats craft as a career and quality as its reputation is a competitive advantage that is hard to replicate.

From settling in Lu'an in 2018, to the CNC upgrade in 2020, to building our own factory in 2021, Huahao has strengthened its manufacturing foundations step by step. Every investment has been an answer to the same question: what kind of company do we want to be? The answer has always been clear — to deliver reliable, reproducible carbon graphite sealing solutions to pump, valve and chemical customers around the world, backed by our own factory, precision equipment and a stable team.
