BIA series carbon graphite seal rings with SiC mating face. SiC high thermal conductivity dissipates heat from high-speed dry friction; graphite self-lubrication lowers friction coefficient for 6000 rpm dry running.
Anti-oxidation impregnated grades rated 350°C maintain stable performance after bake-out. Resin-impregnated grades leave no volatile residue after bake-out. Both suit vacuum pump bake-out processes.
